Always remember being the one sent to find out information needed for the stuff we did to communicate with the stuff he did.

Others would come back saying they hadn't got the information, so I would go and talk to him for a few minutes and then ask the question and get a reply. Just asking bluntly didn't work if he was feeling that way out!
